The Architecture of Healing: Where Clinical Science Meets Phenomenology
I’m Jasmin Reif — a clinician, researcher, and interdisciplinary strategist. My work focuses on the treatment of complex systemic processes: Integrative Oncology, Reproductive Strategy, and Cognitive Resilience.
I bridge the gap between rigorous German medical foundations, the pharmacological depth of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and doctoral research in the Phenomenology of Illness. My goal is to close the critical divide between clinical data and the individual’s lived experience—what I call the ‘Felt Body.’
In my practice, I assist patients in navigating the often-confusing space between divergent medical systems. I do not offer “off-the-shelf” solutions. Instead, I develop bespoke treatment strategies for individuals who expect the highest level of therapeutic excellence.
My Clinical & Academic Foundation
My path is defined by a consistent synthesis of clinical practice and academic depth:
PhD Researcher: Investigating the phenomenology of illness, with a focus on the “Felt Body” and how individuals navigate modern healthcare systems.
MSc in Chinese Herbal Medicine (UK): Specialist focus on pharmacology and complex pathologies.
Medical Studies (Current, Germany): Integrating modern clinical standards into complementary medical practice.
Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic. Ac.): 3,600 hours of clinical training; BAAB accredited (London, UK).
Heilpraktikerin: Licensed medical practitioner for natural medicine (Germany).
Aesthetic Phenomenology & Visual Diagnostics: Master student (Art Academy Düsseldorf) with an MA in Fine Art & Fashion (UK). Maximum precision in somatic perception and pattern recognition beyond standard clinical data.
Current Positions & Memberships
Lecturer in Western Medical Science: City College of Acupuncture, London.
Integrative Oncology: TCM Expert and Research Associate at the Oncology Department, Klinikum Essen Mitte (KEM, Germany).
Published Author: Contributor to specialized journals on the clinical application of TCM.
Professional Memberships: British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) & Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM).
"Through my work in the clinical sector and my research, I bring a rare combination of evidence and empathy to the management of complex diagnoses."
The Method: Clinical Strategy & Phenomenology
I combine classical TCM diagnostics (tongue, pulse, and pattern differentiation) with a modern, structural-science approach:
Individualised Phytotherapy: Highly specialized Chinese herbal prescriptions—my primary tool for worldwide Online Consultancy.
Somatic Programming: TCM-informed lifestyle medicine (Yangsheng) and nutritional strategies at a high physiological level.
Clinical Acupuncture: Precise manual intervention at my clinics in London, Düsseldorf, and Essen.
Phase-Based Logic: Clearly structured therapy plans designed for long-term transformation rather than isolated sessions.
Evidence-Aware Approach: An approach that respects emotional and existential processes while remaining grounded in clinical data and free from spiritual clichés.
"Whether we work together online or in-person, the goal is a treatment strategy where your symptoms are taken seriously, your unique pattern is identified, and the care is seamlessly integrated into your professional and personal life."
Who I Support
I guide individuals at the turning points of their health. My expertise is specifically sought where standard treatments have plateaued:
High-Performers & Executives: Restructuring health during burnout, chronic fatigue, and cognitive exhaustion.
Women in Hormonal Transition: Strategic support for fertility (IVF/ICSI support), endometriosis, and menstrual cycle optimization.
Oncology Patients: Integrative support to stabilize the system during and after conventional cancer treatments.
"My patients share a common drive: they don't want to just 'manage' symptoms; they want to understand the deeper mechanisms of their healing."
Why Choose This Path?
Modern medicine is excellent at collecting data. I help you translate that data into a liveable architecture for healing. This approach is not “alternative”; it is consistently integrative—designed for those seeking clarity, depth, and results.
